Home video documenting the one and only time my Cambodian grandparents took a plane across the Atlantic Ocean to visit relatives in the US and Canada.

This was also my grandparents’ first experience on a plane. My grandma was apparently nervous the whole time and was in a bracing position while covering her ears for the great majority of the trip.

One of the few memories I had of my grandmother was when my father asked her “Are you using any toothbrushes to brush your teeth?” To which she answered “Yes, I just used the kids’ toothbrushes” – My toothbrush tasted a bit funny.
